Lilydale - Warburton Rail Trail

About this page

The 38km Lilydale–Warburton Rail Trail is an ideal route for taking the family for a bike ride, walking the dog or exercising your horse. Considered one of Australia’s best Rail Trails, it travels from the outskirts of the Melbourne suburbs through a bushy corridor to come out into an open rural landscape with picturesque views of the Yarra Ranges in the distance. The Trail can be done as a day trip, as many people do, but there is also a range of accommodation in Warburton and other towns along the way, making it very easy to plan a weekend ride.
