VicRoads
VicRoads Online Interactive Cycling Routes
VicRoads has an interactive bicycle route mapping system of Victoria, which provides up to date information on the location of bicycle routes throughout the state. The maps include details of the off-road path network and the on-road lane network in Melbourne and regional Victoria, including the rail trail network. The mapping system allows you not only to find bicycle routes across the state, but also see several scales, measure trip distance, search for names of streets and print out results. To access the maps, visit VicRoads
Melways
In Melbourne the Melways shows the off-road trails with a dotted red line. Most of these are usually located along rivers and creeks or through parkland. Sometimes they run alongside busy roads (such as the Footscray Rd path). The arterial network of bike lanes and shared paths are also shown on Map 592.
