Western Australia Supporters of Super Tuesday Bicycle Counts

Bicycle Network is recruiting bike counters to take part in the annual Super Tuesday bike count, Australia's biggest visual bike count. Super Tuesday is a Bicycle Network event coordinated by Bicycle Victoria.

You can nominate Bicycling Western Australia to receive the $50 that will assist to get More People Cycling More Often.

Counting bikes is one of the simplest and most important contributions a bike rider can make to the improvement of the riding environment.

Good accurate data on the rider numbers and routes is indispensable to the efficient provision of bike infrastructure.

The Super Tuesday Bike Count is conducted once a year around Australia and your valued help is needed to make it a success.

And at the same time as helping the bike community, you generate funds for local community causes.

Bicycle Network is recruiting bike counters to take part in the annual Super Tuesday bike count, Australia's biggest visual bike count. Super Tuesday is an Australia-wide Bicycle Network event coordinated by Bicycle Victoria.

We are inviting your organisation to be a Super Tuesday Supporter group and so assist in recruiting people to act as bike counters in 2010.

Each person who volunteers and successfully completes the count can nominate a BUG, school or club to receive $50 as a reward for their efforts. For example, if a group recruits ten people to complete the count and they nominate your group to receive the reward, that's $500!

The four categories of supporter groups are indicated on the right. Also, for a full list of BUGs, clubs or schools that have received the rewards in previous years please click on the link Victoria Supporters of Super Tuesday Bicycle Counts.

If your unsure if your club is eligible please contact us.
