Board nominations
Nominations are now closed. Board positions have a three-year term and each year three of the nine positions fall vacant.
Our governance statement outlines responsibilities as a board member of a not for profit organisation, including compliance and performance responsibilities. Compliance responsibilities include issues such as law and regulations, internal control and risk management. Performance responsibilities include defining future goals and ensuring goals are met.
Please inform us as soon as possible at election@bv.com.au or on 03 8636 8888 (1800 639 634 for callers from outside Melbourne) if you are considering nominating so we can inform you about candidate briefing opportunities, provide you with the nomination forms and the relevant rules. You will need to sign our Board Member Declaration that outlines your responsibilities as a Board member of a not for profit organisation, including the need to act ethically in the interest of all stakeholders, and compliance and performance responsibilities.
Complete and valid nominations must be received by 5pm Friday 19 September 2008 at Bicycle Victoria.
To be eligible to vote in the Board election Members must be financial when nominations close.
