5 Election

There were 7 candidates for the 2009 board election. Ruth Paterson, Eytan Lenko and Tony Maughan were elected for three year terms and Jeremy Brand was elected for a one year term.

The Board has passed a regulation that applies to all candidates in Bicycle Victoria Board elections. Failure to follow these rules could result in a candidate being disqualified.

Timetable

4 positions on the Bicycle Victoria board became vacant this year.

7 nominations were received by the close of nominations at 5pm Friday 18 September 2009 as the number of nominations exceeds the number of positions, a ballot is necessary.

At the 2009 Annual General Meeting the 3 candidates with the most votes will be declared elected for the 3 year terms and the candidate with the fourth highest vote will be declared elected until 2010 and published on the website on Tuesday 17 November 2009.

Ruth Paterson, Eytan Lenko and Tony Maughan were elected for three year terms and Jeremy Brand was elected for a one year term.
