Can you help us to improve bike riding facilities so we can get More People Cycling More Often?
The facilities development team at Bicycle Victoria works hard to provide more places for people to ride a bike. We do this through our influence, persuasion, partnership building, communication, public relations, facilitation and political efforts.
We are currently seeking a motivated and well organised person to help lead the team.
The full time role will:
- Facilitate and advocate for improved cycling facilities across a portfolio of projects.
- Organise projects by identifying, scoping and prioritising facilities development issues.
- Utilise spatial and technical skills to solve route and network issues.
- Develop relationships with staff and elected representatives at all levels of government.
- Work with staff from member based cycling groups in other states to improve facilities.
- Continue the development of a strong media profile for the Facilities Development Program.
- Coordinate involvement of members and friends in our efforts.
- Help manage staff and budgets in the Facilities Development Team.
