Women's cycling website: www.womenscycling.com.au
About this page
The women’s cycling website, www.womenscycling.com.au, has something to encourage every woman to experience the buzz of riding more often.
Visitors will find loads of useful information, including a directory of cycling events, bicycle user groups and clubs as well as a forum to share experiences and gain practical tips.
This website was developed by Bicycle Victoria with the support of Sport and Recreation Victoria, Australian Greenhouse Office (Department of the Environment & Heritage) and the Cycling Promotion Fund.
The Women's Cycling Network is a result of the 'Revolutions for Women' research project conducted at Deakin University's School of Health and Social Development, investigating gender differences in cycling, and the motivations, supports and constraints on women cycling.
Site content is informed by the findings of the Revolutions for Women project, as well as from discussion and feedback from our readers.
