The two best ways to contact Bicycle Victoria are by phone or through the message link.

Before you contact us it might be worth searching our website using the keyword search box up above. The website is what we use to answer messages and calls.

Messages offering personal opinions, comments and suggestions will be forwarded to the relevant area for their information and follow up where necessary. Messages that request specific information or require a response may be answered by a reference to a page on the website.

As we receive a large volume of emails every day, we ask you to note that it may take up to two weeks for us to reply.

Our phones are open from 0900 to 1700 AEST.

If you call first thing in the morning and after 2pm you will avoid the times when many people call.

Outside business hours we have a voice mail system. We try to get back to people who have left a voicemail the same day but sometimes we can\'t manage that.

If you need to get a message to us out of hours, we suggest that you use the message system below rather than voicemail. Sometimes names and numbers are hard to discern on the voicemail and the message will leave a clear record of your contact.

Messages and emails

Bicycle Victoria is moving from emails to web forms which we call Messages. This new system has a number of advantages to you:

- it enables us to pass your Message on to the most appropriate person

- it tracks the date and content of all correspondence

- it automatically keeps all the correspondence between the two of us in one place

- it means when you send a Message or make a call, that any one of our people can see the history of the correspondence

- it protects you and us from email spammers

 

Under development

At the moment (October 2008) the Message system is under development. For example we can\'t yet send each other documents through Messages. These communications still have to come by email.

 

 

Sending a document to Bicycle Victoria

If you need to send us a Pdf or similar document for the moment we suggest you send an email and attach the document.

When you send an email to this address you will automatically receive a reply that says \'Please use the link to send a Message\'.

We suggest you tell us in the Message that you have sent an attachment in an email. We can then go and dig your attachment out of the system. If you don\'t alert us by the Message, we are unlikely to read your email.
